• I was over the moon when Janine contacted me about hiring me to photograph her vow renewal to her husband John. Janine and I met in 7th grade and reconnected recently via Facebook. I was so excited to see her again and meet her family! Even more excited to see just how happy and in love she is. Such a great feeling knowing your friends are happy.
• They renewed their vows on the anniversary of when John asked her out for the first time and in their 15th year of marriage. So sweet 🙂
• I loved all of the fall details, it was so beautiful!
• You know it’s a good wedding when even the pastor is crying! I must admit, I was a bit misty eyed too – along with Janine, John and ALL of the guests. They wrote their own vows (always a sure bet for some tears!) and they were so heartfelt and meaningful.
• The Manor House, where they were married and had their dinner reception, was so amazing! It was built in 1838 and was added on to over the years. I loved it and I could only imagine all the stories that the house could tell if it could speak. Growing up in an old farmhouse, I have an affinity for them I think. Such a picture perfect place for a wedding!

Cake: Bride’s Cousin
Ceremony & Dinner: Quail Hollow State Park Manor House
This is the view of the manor house and its surrounding area from the parking lot. So pretty!
While waiting for everyone to arrive, I wandered around taking photographs of everything. Knowing that leaves played into their decor for the day, I decided to lay down in a big pile of leaves to get this shot.
I loved this cake so much and the pumpkin beside it that John’s dad carved for them!
I loved their invitation with “tighten” the knot!
Instead of flowers, their youngest daughter dropped leaves 🙂
Everyone getting a bit misty eyed!
Then the full on tears came on. This is a first for me but it was so sweet!
I loved their looks here.
After they greeted their guests, we headed outside to get some images with their children.
It was a bit bright out but the colors were so pretty!
I loved Janine’s dress! I was expecting something along the bridal line but LOVED this so much more!!! It also looked so comfy!
It was such a perfect day!
Favorite!!!
This tree was so pretty, I’m glad we were able to incorporate it into a few images.
I was taking a few pictures of Janine on John’s chest without his face in it and I told him so, then when I saw out of the corner of my eye he was giving me a dirty look I zoomed out and captured it. I actually like the look and it ended up being a favorite from the day!
I am so, so glad I was able to share in your special day (take two!). It was wonderful getting to know your family and children! I couldn’t be happier for you both!
