Carrollton Senior Session with Chris at Molly Stark Park

I don’t typically do senior sessions as my wedding season keeps me hopping (if you’re looking for a fabulous senior photographer hit up my friend Nicole!) but every now and then I make exceptions to my rule.  Chris’s Mom has been doing my hair for many years and when her son needed his senior pictures taken I was willing to be persuaded – especially when they agreed to go to one of my all-time favorite locations that’s local – Molly Stark Park.

We did his session on Columbus Day and the weather couldn’t have been better.  It was a gorgeous fall day and the leaves were just starting to change and everything was perfect… except that they were putting up metal poles all around the building.  Turns out it was the last day that Molly Stark’s main building would not have a chain link fence surrounding it.  Such a bummer but I understand why they had to do it (people keep breaking into the building and since it’s full of asbestos and falling apart it’s a huge liability especially around Halloween).
