Akron Family Portraits and Cake Smash

I must admit, I kind of love when I have a session that is kind of all over the place in the best way possible. This session when booked with Laura was intended to just be a first birthday portrait session of their youngest daughter ending with a cake smash. However when discussing dates it was decided to have the session the morning after her first birthday party when all of the grandparents were still in town enabling us to capture some portraits with extended family as well. We started off with the extended family portraits and then I whittled down the family to the immediate family, then again to just the sisters, then eventually down to just the baby and we ended it all with the cake smash. It was perfection and I loved every second of it!
