As you may have previously read, I went last November to Jamaica to take pictures of this couple for their intimate ceremony at Tensing Pen in Negril, Jamaica. At the time I couldn’t publicly post many images but they have graciously allowed me to go ahead and publish images from the wedding and day-after-session.
The wedding took place just before sunset on the cliffs of Negril with just a few people present for this gorgeous event. The bride wore a stunning Monique Lhuillier dress and the groom was trussed up and looking handsome in his creme tux. The bridal party consisted of the bride’s sister whom wore a stunning strapless dress in hot pink – the wedding color. The makeup, flowers, officiant and dinner was all provided by Tensing Pen.
M heading towards the Sea Song Hut where the ceremony was to be performed from their hut near the ocean.
It was a warm day that day and I believe M was just a bit nervous!
R’s sister gives a hand by spreading the hot pink rose petals around the ceremony area.
My favorite ceremonies have at least one good laugh in it, this one had quite a few!!
The kiss 🙂
Heading towards the bridge for some portraits.
I wanted a shot or two on the bridge because it was such a dramatic location at the resort, but I started off with a few shots of just them on the bridge appearing to have an ocean backdrop with nothing around them.
I wasn’t kidding when I said the bridge was dramatic, there is a 30 foot drop between the bridge and the water. When waters are calmer, people spend a good part of the day jumping off this bridge but the waters were too choppy for any of us to attempt this when we were here (nor would I EVER have anyone do this when wearing this much clothing!). However the bridge is more stable than it looks and was a great spot for some pics to really showcase the resort they got married at.
Laughing after their first attempt at a spin.
Finally getting the spin right, the sunset was gorgeous but I hear Negril typically puts on a better show. Hopefully I’ll find out someday 🙂
We were seeing if the spot near the water was accessible or not (due to the front at sea there was a lot of waves and the spot was too wet to take them to). However I did love this shot of R as she’s waiting on M to come back up from the location.
Instead we got some shots with the sweet light just before sunset on the lounge chair near their hut.
Watching the sunset before heading to dinner.
Toasting to the new Mr & Mrs!
Tensing Pen provided a light dinner with some absolutely delicious kabobs, salads and juice. YUM!

Holy Crap! That bridge is crazy! One good wind and they’ll get blown into the water. Wow, you wouldn’t catch me on that. Very cool shots! These are beautiful!
That kabob is making me hungry.
Great work Corey. I love #2 and #9.
GORGE Corey!!!
Beautiful pictures.
