A few months ago I met up with Tracy and her Mom thanks to a referral from a past bride of mine, Heidi. We hit it off on the spot and Tracy booked me on the spot. The stars finally aligned on a chilly day in October between my hectic schedule and Dan and Tracy’s so that we could meet up for an engagement session for some pics for their Save the Date magnets which I will be designing. Since they are having a downtown wedding with their ceremony at the Old Stone Church and reception at The Club at Key Center they wanted pictures with the skyline prominently featured. I have really wanted to get a couple down to Wendy Park for a session and they were willing so we went down there for a different skyline shot than the ‘standard’ engagement ‘skyline’ shot from Edgewater and then finished up the session over at Lakewood Park.
Dan and Tracy were such a great couple to play with! They easily fall into poses together and you can tell their relationship is solid. They took all of my wacky suggestions and didn’t hesitate to do what I asked. I just wish the weather was a bit nicer but the clouds did end up looking pretty darn cool. I also love any couple that is willing to go play at old buildings with me and they were more than willing to pose in front of the neat old Coast Guard building for me. I can’t wait for their wedding next September!!!
