• Up until the minute this engagement session started I worried that we were going to have to cancel the session due to rain. The forecast was predicting rain up until the day of but much like many of my outdoor sessions and weddings lately, the day of the forecast changed and we lucked out yet again and didn’t have to reschedule.
• As with my other sessions that I’ve worried about rain though, it POURED on my way home. Timing was absolutely perfect!
• We laughed so, so much during our session and these guys were game for anything. We wandered the Davis Center and any ideas I had they went for without a question or a thought. YAY!
• I am glad we were able to do the session when we did because ever since then the weather has been rotten and the winds have been insane – which means the leaves dropped earlier this year than in the past and the color was probably its best on this day.
• The Davis Center was having their annual pumpkin walk which made for some interesting cropping and posing to make sure that the pumpkins weren’t the focus in the image. They did however lend themselves to make for some interesting conversations and things to look at, including some that made us question the sanity of their creators! LOL
• Look for these guys to return next September!
Sadly I think that lovely color is gone for good now that is behind them.
While we avoided the pumpkin overload for the majority of the images, I did have to incorporate the love one!
I could tell after the image above that they were having a rough time with the stoic faces so I told them they could laugh, and laugh they did.
This may have been my favorite area in the entire park. Such great light and leaves.
Isn’t her ring gorgeous?
Matt is the one that saw this awesome carving in the tree, good eye!
The rose garden was another favorite spot for some extra pops of color.
They had a quick change into some Cleveland Indians gear before the session was up and the rain came in.
