•  This was my last engagement session of 2010!

•  This means I am almost caught up!!!!!  Two more events need to be blogged from 2010 and one wedding from 2011.  Don’t fear that the blog will go quiet though, I have a ton of personal trips and recaps to blog that I’ve held off on due to wanting to get caught up.  I hope to be a better blogger this year!

•  KC + Kyle got darn lucky – for a late November engagement session the day was not too cold and there were still some leaves hanging on!

•  Originally we were going to go for a local park that had some waterfalls but a week of rain changed that idea since none of us were keen on slogging through mud.

•  We ended up doing their engagement session at almost everyone’s favorite college, Ohio State University.  We started off on campus and ended up at the horseshoe – of course!  We were also VERY lucky that the Saturday we chose was an away game and a later game to boot = no tailgating and no fighting for parking.

•  This was such a fun session, these guys are totally relaxed and a lot of fun.  We laughed a lot during their session and I can’t wait for their wedding in May (you are going to be jealous of the venue!).

We started off the session at the picturesque Mirror Lake on the OSU campus.  See the leaves still changing?  It was NOVEMBER 20th!

 

I loved this little theater near the lake, so quaint!

 

I loved KC’s outfit, such a unique twist on the normal black t and jeans.  I also loved how Kyle’s shirt brought in the black and gave his dressy white shirt a twist.  Score for styling you two!

 

My favorite backdrop is a tree full of color and this one did not disappoint.

A quick wardrobe change and we made a stop at the famous stadium!

 

Proof that you can look like you are in a park anywhere.  The small bushes around the walkway surrounding the stadium had some great color so I had them sit nearby and got this image which ended up as one of my favorites from the day!  The red against the yellow is a great contrast!
