When the temperatures cool off and the leaves start to change I always get a slew of requests for engagement sessions and portraits (if you want a fall session schedule early!). It’s always a bit of a juggle to get everyone in before the temperatures change, the leaves drop and the snow arrives. Especially in Ohio, it’s always a gamble! This year though Mother Nature played nice after the crazy hot summer and everyone was able to be fit in between weddings and my yearly trip to New England in October. Even better, it seemed like this year the leaves popped a smidge earlier than normal and they stayed a bit longer due to the lovely weather we had which was a huge bonus!
Alisha and Nick were one of my many sessions in mid-October and I met up with them at Squire’s Castle in Willoughby. Squire’s Castle is a neat location but can be a bit of a pain depending on what is going on that day, luckily it was not too busy when we were there so we didn’t have to wait around for locations or for people to pass! I really love the different looks you can get by going here and double loved that Alisha and Nick were willing to hike around a bit to get some of the locations.
Look for this lovely couple to return back next summer! I can’t wait to see them again!
