Summer Akron Engagement Session with Alyssa and Taylor

Last summer I met up with Alyssa and Taylor while they were in town and instead of going to a park they opted to take their photos at Taylor’s parent’s home in Akron. I love when clients choose places that have meaning to them beyond “it’s pretty” because I think it’s neat to document not only your love but the places you love too. Taylor’s parents built their home and it’s a beautiful place on beautiful grounds.

Of course, it being Ohio, the day of their session was a stormy day. While we managed to get most of the photos in before the downpour we did get caught at the very end. I love that they weren’t phased by it and went back out in it despite the rain.

They got married last fall and it was one of the most romantic weddings I’ve ever photographed. I can’t wait to blog that soon!
