I have been friends with Jen since we were kids and pretty much from the get-go as we were playing with our Barbies I knew she would be an amazing Mom. Emmalin has proved my 10 year old self right, Jen is an amazing Mom and her husband, Chad, has been the best of Dads. For Emmalin’s 6 month portraits we met up over at Jen’s Dad’s house. The plan was to do some pictures outside but unfortunately Ohio was Ohio that day and it was cold and rainy. Emmalin had also started teething so it was an adventurous session but we still managed to squeak out some smiles! Enjoy this precious girl!
She got a bit upset and the only one who could console her was her Dad. I finally saw some smiles appear and captured them.

I always love getting a capture or two of the fussies during a session because that’s just part of the story of their personalities at that age.
As you can tell, Emmalin was over.it. at this point. Ha.
