The N Family Portrait Session in North Canton

This is the first year I’ve ever offered Holiday Mini Sessions and it went wonderfully!  I knew when I was thinking of the idea that I didn’t want the traditional version most photographers do (when do I ever follow the crowd?) so I came up with a version that fit my vision of my ideal family sessions: lifestyle portraits that capture the fun and craziness that life is.  All of these sessions were a blast to photograph and now that the holidays have passed I can finally share these with you without spoiling the surprise!

My first session was with the N family and they are near and dear to my heart.  I’ve been friends with their Dad since we were pre-teens and he’s been friends with my husband since they worked together at Acme.  Fun fact totally unrelated to this but everywhere we go, we generally have someone come up to my husband knowing him from working there.  We were flying home from Mexico this past year and had someone in the airport come up to us and know Chris from his Acme days.  It’s wild!!!  Anyway back to the session…. so this family session was arranged as a Christmas gift for the Grandparents and the gifts were a HUGE success.  Of course I’m going to tell you that professional pictures of your children is an amazing gift to give to Grandparents but I would say that regardless if you hired me or if I was even a photographer.  Nothing beats seeing Grandma’s face light up every time she looks at a portrait of her grandchildren framed on the wall.
