Engaged: Cathy & Brandon

? Sorry for the delay in blogging, I caught a cold from the darling hubby and was in curl-on-the-couch-and-sleep mode. I’m sure a few of you can relate! I’m finally feeling pretty normal save for a few moments during the day of curling up with my cat and a book (well my Kindle). I have LOTS to blog!

? This couple had a couple different dates for their engagement shoot but weather never quite cooperated but the day we finally got everything together the weather was AMAZING.

? The session was in East Sparta on the Bride’s Aunt’s Farm. I was seriously ear-to-ear grinning when I saw it as we drove up onto the land. It’s a beautiful farm with lots of eye candy!

? This couple got married on the 17th… so their wedding is coming soon to the blog with lots of all goodies!!!

The first thing I saw when we drove into the farm is this huge lot along the driveway that had amazing light and lovely weeds growing wild. It was a bit interesting getting in there but I adore the images that were made there!

You know I have to love on the flare in here! Yummy light!!!

Luckily this was right when the colors really began to pop so I was able to capture some of their fall theme with these pictures.

A traditional style portrait but I still love it.

Day After Session: Jennifer and Todd

? Although they live in D.C. they are still die-hard Browns Fans and wanted to go tailgating for their Day After Session.

? There was too many people coming out of the tailgating lot so they just mingled with the fans on the way to the game.

? Apparently, if you are wearing a wedding dress you are free game to hug, grab, touch, high-five and take pictures with.

? Jennifer didn’t mind.

? Wedding Dresses also get you onto Johnny Cash’s tour bus.

? I feel bad for anyone going to downtown Cleveland on a game day that is NOT going to the game. Finding parking was IMPOSSIBLE and not remotely affordable. ANYWHERE.

? I love how unique this idea was and had a blast shooting it!

This is exactly why I love “Day After” sessions – because you get the oh-so-creative mix of glamour and everyday. Well done!ReplyCancel

Married: Jennifer & Todd 10.03.09

I like bullets so I’m going to roll with that until I get bored with them.

? Jennifer and Todd booked me quite a while ago so it seems as if I’ve been waiting for this wedding for eons.

? They had a bagpiper whom was pretty spectacular. I love bagpipes!

? Most of the details of their wedding were DIY but you would have NEVER guessed it by looking at it all, quite well done!!

? My favorite DIY element was the photographs of their dog, Chloe, that Todd took and they used for table numbers. A D O R A B L E!!!!!

? Jennifer took everything in stride the day of the wedding and never let any bumps – like an impromtu fair at her photo location – throw her.

? They continued the “unusual” cake trend I seemed to have been having by having cupcakes in lieu of a traditional cake. The best part of the night was watching all the kids staring down the cupcakes. They were DELICIOUS.

? Their band, Twist, was also amazing!

? Bubble Three Olives Vodka. Try it.
