Say a prayer, send positive thoughts, whatever you can do

There are people that you meet that you instantly just know they are good people, and Natalie and Ritchie Norton are those good people.  I had the pleasure of meeting Natalie last year in Maui at the Mike Colon Workshop and she immediately won me over with her sunny disposition, bright smiles and I’ll be honest – killer clothes.  She was such a super cutie and her husband was also the nicest person, always willing to help and lend a hand.  I’ve loved getting to know Natalie better over the past year via Twitter and Facebook, reading and giggling over her 3 sons antics and being super excited when I heard about her new baby that was on the way.   They are the kind of good people that send you a Hawaii Starbucks mug for your hubby when his gets broken at work and he’s really bummed.

Sadly, life rarely seems fair and the good people often have to fight the hardest battles in life.  Gavin, Natalie’s beautiful son, was born in late fall and despite being a perfectly healthy baby until now picked up an infection while in the states for the holidays and is now fighting for his life.  Natalie is requesting prayers and positive thoughts and although this blog doesn’t get the hits that others get, who knows when that one extra push is the trick that turns the tides.  Medicine is a lot of what saves you but I also firmly believe in miracles and I’m praying for one for them.

Please if you can, send a thought or prayer their way – whatever is your style – in hopes to help Gavin turn for the better and win the battle against the many obstacles stacked in his path.  If you want to read more about it, or contact Natalie via comments and let her know you’re thinking of her and the family, here is her blog.  I warn you though, tissues are necessary when reading.

Update: Sadly, Gavin passed away today.
