Acacia Reservation Wedding with Candice and Cameron

Beachwood Wedding in July at Acacia Reservation

It took us what felt like a long time to finally get to this day with Candice and Cameron.  They were originally supposed to be married in June of 2020 and, well, we all know what happened there.  Then their venue went out of business.  And the world did what the world did… so when I arrived to finally document their day on a STUNNING day in July it seemed almost surreal.

So many moments and details stand out to me still to this day.  I was obsessed with the arches that Candice chose for her altar decor.  It was a new thing then and I hadn’t seen anything like it before.  Cameron’s emotions as Candice walked down the aisle made everyone who looked his way, myself included, well up with tears.  Cameron’s Dad married them and literally everyone almost peed their pants when he pulled out the pope hat and went full The Princess Bride with mawwige.  Literally had to shoot while trying not to bust a gut. The petal toss as they came back down the aisle was perfection (even if a few people went a bit savage with it).  The evening had some of the best dancing I’ve ever seen on a dance floor.  The night ended with fireworks (perks to an early July wedding is fireworks you don’t pay for!) and the couple graciously agreed to let me try to capture a few end of the night shots with them.
