Whew, it feels like forever since I’ve blogged a wedding. Wait… it has been! Oops! At least my reentry into wedding blogging is with this stunner of a wedding with Rebecca and Stephen. Their wedding was such a wonderful day with lots of smiles, laughs and of course tons of love.
There’s no such thing as a bad wedding day at the beautiful Hyatt Arcade. The venue is just so beautiful and there is NOT a bad angle here. Ok well, there’s one. It’s coming in my December wedding but it involves a creepy Santa in an insurance company’s window (everyone was amused by it though). Beyond creepy Santa though, the Hyatt Arcade is one of the most stunning Cleveland venues and I was so excited to photograph Rebecca and Stephen’s wedding there.
There was a bit of insanity going on outside so we had to find some quiet spots downtown in Public Square but everything worked out and we had a bonus of some mounted police who were game for photos. The rest of the day had that kind of charm – despite the chaos that a wedding brings, everything ended up being fairy tale perfect (which is partly due to the amazing ladies at Kirkbrides).
Thank you both so much for trusting me with your wedding day! Additional thanks to Tom for being my fabulous second shooter!

One of my favorite parts of the day is spending time taking photos of details, especially the bridal gown! This one was a stunner and I’m glad that I was able to take it on an adventure to show off their wedding venue along with the dress.
I love all of the ample mirrors in the bridal suite at The Arcade, especially when they show off beautiful hair like this!
I love when couples read letters to one another before they see each other. This little spot in the bridal suite worked out perfectly!
I feel that I could take this photo at every single wedding when the groom and groomsman try to figure out how to fold their pocketsquares. I love that Tom captured this moment so perfectly!
He also got a great photo of Stephen reading his letter from Rebecca.
One of the reasons I loved Rebecca’s dress so much is because it was SO perfectly princess-y for a wedding! It floated and flowed SO beautifully! Check out these images Tom captured from the first look that show off this gown!
I loved the colors of this bridal party – the grey and the green worked well together!
How amazing are these bouquets that The Budding Tree created for them? I’m still obsessed with them almost a year later.
Due to the craziness with the events in Cleveland they also had some mounted police to keep everything in check. They were willing to pose with everyone which I thought was a hoot and added to the story of their day.
How stunning is Rebecca!? SO beautiful!
A close up of the fabulous bouquet with this roses and beautiful greenery!
The guys also got an image with the horses too!
How cute are these two? I could have photographed them for hours! Oh wait, I did!
SO sweet!
Public Square at the right angles looks like a forest!
We then headed back to The Arcade to cool off and right before the ceremony they did the ketubah signing upstairs.
How beautiful is this program?
Stephen and his parents were full of smiles!
I adored this image Tom captured of Rebecca coming down the stairs.
Stephen set eyes on Rebecca and his entire face lit up.
I absolutely loved Rebecca’s Mom’s gown, that shade of blue was perfection and the lace was divine!
This moment may have made me tear up too. Yes, 12+ years later and I’m still crying at weddings. I hope I never stop.
These two are absolute perfection!
I loved this sign at the wedding!
Their smiles during this ceremony were EVERYTHING. They were so darn happy and were both beaming.
Breaking the glass on the first try! Well done!
They do!
They did!
If you’ve been around here for any amount of time you know about my undying love for Wild Flour Bakery and this cake was simply perfect. I loved the delicate details and the flowers were the perfect touch.
This color palette was so stunning in The Arcade! I loved the bright touches of the gold and light blue with the greens in the centerpieces.
They may have got a bit silly with the cake cutting!
This dress! I can’t rave about it enough, I love how it floated down the stairs. What a beautiful entrance into the reception!
They went right into the first dance and this may be my most favorite photo from the day.
The parent dances followed and they were both lovely.
After dinner the dance floor opened and in true Cleveland Music Group fashion it was immediately packed and stayed that way fo the rest of the night. Bill Bowen did a wonderful job!
I love when my couples stick with each other through the dancing and these two were always within reach of one another.
How perfect are these two?!
When I saw their custom bobbleheads I knew that I HAD to do a ring photo with them!
