Almost a year before their wedding I met up Molly and Jacob before their wedding over at Wade Oval lagoon for their engagement session. I knew that Molly was a kindred spirit when her hair elastic broke (mine do ALL the time) and she accepted my extra without hesitation (because of said breakage I always use two). Their engagement was full of giggles and smiles and I had a wonderful time with them.
The day of their wedding was much like their engagement session. If it wasn’t for the fancy dress you wouldn’t know it was their wedding day. There was no bridezilla-ing, no anxious groom… everyone was just so elated to get the day underway but there was no stresses. That also was partially due to the amazing team at Kirkbrides! It was such a great, easy day!
It was another warm day in northeast Ohio but luckily for us we had a steady breeze that made the heat bearable. We started out with pictures at Molly’s parents house and then ended with a few pictures on East 4th before finishing up around the Marriott downtown.
The reception kicked off after everyone was able to take a break and it was such a fun night. Lots of smiles, laughs and we even got a chance to sneak outside and take a few pictures with the fountain before my time ended for the evening.
Special thanks to Andrew Jordan for being his usual amazing self as a second photographer with me for their wedding day!
Many congratulations to you both!!! Thank you so much for trusting me with your wedding day!

I started my day out meeting the bride and bridesmaids at Molly’s parents house. Their house is right on a golf course and their backyard was perfect for photos! I’m glad we were able to get an image out there with the ladies before they all got dressed! I loved their personalized robes, it’s apparently the year of the robe (and I love it!).
Jacob wrote Molly a lovely letter which she read alone before opening his wedding present to her – a gorgeous pair of earrings.
Molly then made her way downstairs and surprised her bridesmaids with a first look. They were properly shocked and swooned over her gorgeous look.
Once arriving at the church Molly also had a first look with her father and it was perfection!
Jacob wore a black suit with a black tie and it was a great look.
His smile when he saw Molly for the first time though was the best look of the day!
How adorable is Molly and her father??
Their wedding ceremony at Holy Trinity in Avon was perfection.
The first kiss!!
After the ceremony we headed back to Molly’s parents house again and did some portraits in their backyard before everyone took a break for lunch.
How great do these guys look with their suits and ties?
I loved the long grey gowns on the girls! The lace top was so perfect!
We finished up portraits with Jacob and Molly.
How cute are these two?? I adored Molly’s rhinestone headband.
Love these two!
Molly donned a beautiful heirloom veil that has been in her family for generations for some portraits and it is beautiful!
I love this image that Andrew captured of Molly with the veil!
We made a quick stop at East 4th Street and I couldn’t resist the chance to take a portrait with them and the All in 216 sign that was painted in the street in preparation for the final game of the NBA finals.
It’s crazy that only a couple days after this image was taken this whole plaza would be filled with people watching the parade and speeches afterwards.
How beautiful is this bouquet from The Budding Tree? LOVE!
The decor inside the ballroom at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Center was perfection! I loved the high and low centerpieces.
These gold rimmed goblets on the head table were a perfect accent to the cream and gold throughout the ballroom.
A dip to end the first dance!
As always, a beautiful and delicious cake from Wild Flour!
The toasts were hilarious, sweet and the right amount of cringe!
After dinner Molly danced with her father before Jacob danced with his Mother.
The final song in the remaining formalities of the evening was one I hadn’t had yet and I loved this idea! After Jacob and his Mom finished dancing they had the other parents come out and Jacob and Molly danced with them (Jacob with his Mother in Law, Molly with her Father in Law) and then her Dad and his Mom came out on the dance floor with their children as well. I loved this way of including ALL the parents because they are all important!
I was able to sneak away with the rings not too long after and I LOVED this tablecloth from Event Rentals and I’m so glad I got to play with it!
Before our night was complete we went outside for some night portraits with Molly and Jacob and Andrew got this wonderful shot with terminal tower lit up for the Cavs behind them. The next night they would go on to win the series!
