I just had SO MUCH FUN With Maria and Kevin.  They didn’t take themselves too seriously and just enjoyed the day!  Which echos the couple’s wedding that referred me – Natasha and Michael.  This was another October wedding but since it was the last weekend of the month we weren’t sure what the weather would do.  The forecast was calling for rain so we went for their game plan of doing photos at a winery in Warren.  However, when we arrived the rain was holding off and the trees in a park nearby were SO beautiful I begged them to go over to the park with me.  They agreed and I’m so glad we did because the leaves were just stunning!  Proving once again that sometimes the best photo spots are the ones that you find along the way.

I had never been to DiVieste’s Banquet Centre for a wedding before and I was delighted to finally photograph an event there!  Here’s hoping for more in the coming years.

One thing I have to rave about is how cool their centerpieces were.  They were cupcakes but done up like a normal floral centerpiece and were SO COOL.  All the guests were in awe of them and kept talking about how neat they were.

Finally, sadly Maria’s father passed away and wasn’t able to be earth side for her wedding.  I loved the small touches they brought to the day to honor him from the place setting at the reception, to the sweet tribute to him at the reception to the bouquet piece she carried.  While there was a lot of emotion it was lovely to see him honored so beautifully.
