Luckily I didn’t have to wait long after Sara and Steve’s engagement session to see them again! People often think that engagement sessions must be done loooonnnng in advance of the wedding but they don’t (unless you are using them for Save the Dates that is!) and often I’ve done engagement sessions the month of (or the week of) the wedding. It was nice to see them again and the weather gods again were kind to us and while there was rain in the morning the clouds were gone and the skies were clear by the time we headed out to Cuyahoga Valley National Park for their pictures.
I really loved Sara’s choice of color palette – the pink and yellow were popping against the grey and it was such a fun summery look! The gorgeous florals from Savoir Faire really helped tie together the theme and really made the whole look a feast for the eyes.

LOVED Sara’s shoes!
Yeah I’m soooooo in love with these shoes!
While I was with the girls my husband was with the guys capturing their process of getting ready.
These flower girls had so much STYLE when tossing the petals, love!
Sara and her Dad walking down the aisle!
Such a lovely ceremony!
Have I mentioned how much I love bubble exits? SO MUCH!
We headed over to Everett Road Covered Bridge for pics and it was a perfect spot!
The light was so pretty this time of day and I loved how this bridal party pulled their look together.
These guys rocked the pink like nobody’s business!
I love when the guys rock fun socks, these grey and yellow argyle socks were awesome.
These ladies also had some fashionable footwear and I LOVED these shoes with the dresses!
I sent the bridal party back to the limo while I worked with Sara and Steve.
Please note how amazing Sara’s bouquet is… I LOVED her flowers. Props to Savoir Faire!
They are just adorable!
My spin on the “ring shot”
The cake was not only beautiful it was delicious as well!
I loved the table decor in the room at Fairlawn Country Club – there were three different centerpieces and they made the room come alive.
LOVED the favors!!!
The toasts were perfection and I loved the sign behind them!
Cutting the cake went smoothly!
The first dance was adorable and sweet, as they should be.
The guests tore up the dance floor from the young to the old. It was fun to watch – especially during Shout!
The groomsman came back in when YMCA dressed as The Village People and the entire room erupted in laughter and came running with cameras.
This picture makes me laugh every single time I look at it. Nothing like a good worm to end the YMCA!
Sara and her Dad had a sweet dance together.
Steve came out for the garter removal dressed like an inspector and pulled various things out from Sara’s dress including a cane, duster and a rubber chicken. Everyone was giggling by the time the garter was removed.
I ended the evening taking some pictures of their rings!
