After their engagement session I knew that my wedding with Alyssa and Taylor would be a wonderful day. The day was threatening rain but thankfully we were able to do their outdoor photos before the clouds let loose. It was a beautiful autumn day with a crispness to the air that reminds you that snow isn’t too far off.
Their whole day was so full of love and smiles it was impossible not to smile all day! These two have such a sweet love and were a joy to work with. Their families and bridal parties were also a joy. There were lots of smiles and a few happy tears throughout the day.
The cherry on the top was that I had my “minion” back with me for this wedding, Nicole, and it was fun to work together one more time! She is expecting next month so it may have been the last time so I’m glad we at least got one more wedding in together.
Thank you both SO much for trusting your beautiful day to me! It was a pleasure to work with you all!
Ceremony & Reception: Greystone Hall / Cake Artist: Tiffany’s Bakery / DJ: One T Entertainment / Florist: Savoir Faire
How fun are Alyssa’s heels?
During a break of the getting ready process we popped down to see how Taylor was getting along – he was just finishing up getting ready himself.
I love the blue suit with the dark red tie!
Back upstairs we finished up with Alyssa who looked amazing.
The finishing touch of the perfect pearls!
It was time for the first look!
Taylor was just a bit overcome with emotions. We all were teary by the end of it.
I loved these stairs at Greystone!
We were lucky that the rain held off just long enough for us to go outside for some portraits near Greystone Hall.
How cute are these two??
Savoir Faire always does a fabulous job and I am still in love with this stunning bouquet they created for Alyssa. From the pale pink roses, to the succulents, to the thistle… it was amazing.
HOW CUTE ARE THEY!?
Unfortunately by the time the bridal party was ready the rain had came in but luckily the backup location inside the hall was just fine!
These guys were SO dapper!
These ladies were a joy – and I’m not just saying that because they gave me the most amazing banana bread that I still dream about. Okay, maybe that helped. Ha!
It was time for the wedding which was Unplugged, wahoo!
One of the best things about their wedding was that they had Alyssa’s grandmother and grandfather as flower girl and ring bearer! I was SO excited for this!
Now it was time for a few more tears… from all of us!
SUCH a beautiful ceremony!
Isn’t this such a pretty space?!
I am still in love with the white pumpkin centerpieces.
Tiffany’s Bakery had a stunning cake that was also delicious!
Their first dance was everything a romantic at heart dreams of.
After dinner it was time for the parent dances.
The rest of the evening was spent dancing, chatting and enjoying the space at Greystone Hall which features this amazing bar area.
This photo will always make me laugh.!
I always love when my clients can sneak in a dance with a grandparent.
So, I do not have kids therefore I missed the Baby Shark obsession that was starting to grip the nation at the time. Thankfully Taylor decided to remove Alyssa’s garter to Baby Shark, complete with hand movements, so I was no longer in the dark about the song.
The laughs from the Baby Shark Garter Removal took a while to stop LOL!
If you didn’t think this pumpkin loving photographer didn’t use the gorgeous white pumpkins for a ring shot then you don’t know me well!
