I have photographed a lot of weddings at Gervasi Vineyard but Erin and Paul’s was the first one that I photographed both the ceremony and reception inside the Conservatory and it was SO perfect for a small wedding event. Normally they end up on the ground floor at the Bistro afterwards but they are also usually a bit larger of a grouping. If you are having a small gathering I highly recommend it! I love how beautiful the light is inside, it’s temperature controlled and the twinkling lights at night add a bit of extra magic.
I had such a great day with Erin and Paul – they were SO laid back! Their wedding was on a Tuesday and I cannot tell you how many times I had to remind myself to make sure I didn’t forget. I have my weddings/bookings kept track of on multiple calendars but non-holiday weddings on Monday – Thursday always throw me! I love them but I guess the anxiety gremlin inside of me is always worried I’ll somehow forget (don’t worry I never have).
There were so many great things about this day – the emotions, the love, the beautiful details, the ADORABLE flower girl, Paul’s floral tie (I HAD to shout that out because OBVIOUSLY) and of course Gervasi Vineyard. I always am happy when I’m able to photograph a wedding so close to home!
