Joe + Rachael 10.04.08

After meeting Joe and Rachael for their fabulous engagement session in Little Italy, I couldn’t wait to see them the day of their wedding!  They are such a great fun-loving couple and they are SO much fun to work with.  Their wedding day was picture perfect in a gorgeous location in Willoughby at Manakiki.  The wedding was held outdoors in a gorgeous arbor of trees and perfectly captured their ‘Fall in Love’ theme as Joe and Rachael said ‘I do’ beneath the canopy of just-turning fall leaves.  They walked off into the autumn sunset and it could NOT have been any more perfect.

Their reception continued to love and laughter as they got toasted by friends and family.  There was not a dry eye in the house after the top 10 list was read off by her sisters and bridesmaids.  Grandma Jane’s reason they should marry was the best – she was the most adorable thing EVER.  I wanted to bundle her up and take her home with me.  There was also some SERIOUS dancing going on.  Joe and Rachael had a choreographed dance for their first dance that started off with “The Best is Yet to Come” by Frank Sinatra and went into “Stayin’ Alive” by Wyclef Jean which was choreographed to the beat and they shook their little booties to much laughter and applause.  The father/daughter dance was an elegant waltz to “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder and everyone was in awe.  The night ended with the band taking off and everyone danced the night away.

Thank you both for allowing me to have a part in your amazing day!!!
