• Liz and Duke came to me by referral from a groomsman for Christina & Matt’s wedding (whom just had a gorgeous baby boy!).
• Liz was yet another amazingly calm and relaxed bride the day of her wedding. She wasn’t remotely stressed about anything and was very relaxed the whole day. Duke was also very calm and they both just enjoyed the company of their family and friends all day. Nothing but smiles from these guys!
• I love how relaxed their reception was, it was just a dance floor (only a first dance and cake cutting without the other stuff) with an amazing duet singing and lots of conversations taking place. Kids were everywhere having the time of their lives.
• I LOVE historic buildings and the Spread Eagle Tavern quickly captured my heart, it is a gorgeous historic place and I hope to return again soon! Beyond that the food was amazing and I’m still dreaming about the cheese they had at their cocktail hour, delicious!
• Their wedding was yet another hot and humid scorcher of a historically hot summer!
• Finally, they sent me home with a HUGE box full of cake. That was my lunch for the next few days and boy was it delicious!!!!!!!!

I adored Liz’s gown! SO pretty!
There’s always time for snuggling cute babies before the ceremony!
Liz’s sister helped do up the many buttons on her dress before the ceremony.
It was SO HOT their wedding day, Duke was a bit sweaty and luckily his brother was on hand with a handkerchief
The florist did an amazing job with the decor, especially of the arch for the ceremony!
The first kiss.
They exited through a shower of birdseet!
Such a gorgeous couple aren’t they?
Dinner was held in the main Tavern and Liz’s nephew gave the blessing. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room, including mine.
He got a HUGE hug for his perfect blessing!
After dinner we headed back and started off the reception with the first dance.
The kids loved Stan Miller’s amazing music and quickly got to dancing. This is my favorite image from the day!
They played nice for their cake cutting, no one wanted to waste a bite of this divine cake!
Not only was the cake divine but it was gorgeous too!
Liz’s niece was staring at Liz all day, you could tell she thought the world of her Aunt and she had a blast dancing with her!
At the end of the day when a tinge of the heat had passed (but boy was it still humid!) we went back out for some last portraits of the day.
Thank you both for having me, it was a great day and you were both fantastic to work with!
