Wedding • Hannah and Derek • The Club at Hillbrook

•  Huge thanks to Thomas Matthews of T1 Photo for coming out to be my second.  As you may have read, my go-to second shooter was pregnant this summer and couldn’t shoot per doctors orders and luckily between my awesome hubs and fabulous photographers like Thomas, I was able to keep on going without a blip.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

•  The weekend of their wedding was so dicey with weather but luckily their wedding was perfectly timed!  The outdoor ceremony, pictures and cocktail hour were all with gorgeous light, perfect weather and not a drop of rain.  However, when the reception moved indoors it began to pour!  SO perfect timing!!!  YAY!

•  I adored Hannah’s details SO SO much at her wedding.  Everything was perfectly perfect and too adorable for words.  Seriously, it was just awesome.

•  This wedding marks the first time I ever heard the song Gangham Style.  I had NO clue what it was and even the DJ had to search for it on his computer as he wasn’t familiar with it.  All I remembered at the time was this video of this dude doing some strange dance.  Two months later, it’s a HIT.

•  Sunday weddings are generally a bit more laid back but not their wedding, you would have never known it was a Sunday wedding if I hadn’t told you.  I kept thinking all day it was Saturday despite working the day before with Carrie and Matt.

I adored Hannah’s wedding shoes, they were glorious!

The Club at Hillbrook is such a gorgeous place and I loved the windows in the guest rooms!

While I was downstairs with the girls, the guys were taking notes from the Gangham Style video.

Hannah was exceptionally pampered by having her hair AND makeup done at the same time.

SUCH a pretty bride!

I loved that both of Hannah’s parents both walked her down the aisle.

Such a gorgeous place for a ceremony, right?

Hannah’s Dad did a reading during the ceremony that was just beautiful.

Hannah and Derek had a wine ceremony which I loved!

Thomas was able to get some great alternate angles during the ceremony like this one which I loved of Hannah’s smile!

Derek’s ring was a bit tight!

Breaking the glass, mazel tov!

The kiss!

I loved the navy and pink details together!

I can’t say enough how much I loved these bridesmaids dresses!!!!  SO gorgeous and classy!

These guys looked pretty awesome too!

Gazebos aren’t usually a wedding photographers favorite place to go but this gazebo is a-maz-ing!

These two are just adorable!

🙂

The light was fading fast but it was still magical in the forest with Hannah and Derek.

Ahhh!  So pretty!

Can you tell Derek is juuust a bit taller than Hannah?  So we had him pick her up.  🙂

How gorgeous are the reception tables?????  LOVE this!

The cake was also amazing with alternating circle and hexagon tiers with pink and white detailing!

Such a fun entrance into the reception!

Cheers!

Their first dance.

Father-Daughter dances are always my favorite, I’ll always be a Daddy’s Girl.

Derek and his Mom had an equally sweet dance.

These rings were awesome!!!  Of course I had to play with them on the shoes.

Welcome to the reception!!!

Hannah accidentally threw the bouquet straight up, which meant it came straight back down on her head.  As you can see, it hurt and everyone was left speechless.  Don’t worry, she got it right on the second toss!

Derek made sure he aimed straight out with the garter.

Call me maybe?

Thank you all for having me along for your amazing day!!!
