• This is the first time I got to take pictures of a Chinese Tea Ceremony and of the tasks the groom has to complete before seeing the bride. I LOVE these traditions and think that they added a lot of fun to the day of the wedding.
• The bridesmaids had dresses from Two Birds and since that brand was featured on my favorite wedding blog, Wedding Bee, when I was getting married I’ve been OBSESSED with it. I am very tempted to buy one for myself.
• Humid doesn’t even BEGIN to describe the weather the day of this wedding, however everyone was troopers as we went around various sites in the Berea area for pictures.
• Many of the wedding details the bride and groom did themselves including the bride making her own bustle!! How AWESOME is that!? The best part is that the bustle held together and looked better than many of the professionally sewed bustles I’ve seen!
• Angela was a three dress bride and every single one was STUNNING on her. One of those dresses came from Running of the Brides!! LOVE that!!!!

Going along with tradition, Angela was locked inside her house unseen by Robb until he completed tasks that the bridesmaids assigned to him and his groomsman. The tasks included singing “My Heart Will Go On” performing yoga poses and recreating the proposal with a groomsman. Robb passed the tests with flying colors!!! You got to love a bridal party that starts the day off with this much fun!!
While I was outside, Colleen was inside capturing Angela peeking in on the events.
These images are exactly why I love first looks!!!!!
The Tea Ceremony was so interesting to me and that red dress on Angela is perfection.
We headed to Berea for some portraits. Luckily there is a shaded area near the lake so we were able to keep a bit cooler than it was in the scorching sun!
The guys were excellent jumpers!
Sometimes you just need to get your boogie on!
The girls’ parasols were GORGEOUS!
One of my favorite pictures, however these two are so darn adorable that I pretty much love every.single.shot.
Another favorite!!! They are just too cute together for words.
Now THAT is a dip!
They are just this precious to one another, it’s beautiful to see and capture!
The guys making sure that Robb isn’t in disarray.
Angela looked stunning sitting in the grass watching the guys mess around that I had to snap a shot of it.
Another favorite, reminds me of a yin/yang symbol.
After the portraits were finished up we headed to the Mariott to get these love birds married!
They wrote their own vows to one another, it was beautiful.
The toast by the Maid of Honor (Angela’s sister) was beautiful, funny and perfect.
Robb’s Best Man followed up with another perfect speech.
Angela and Robb got to see their Love Story Interview from Focus on You for the first time during the reception. It was a video interviewing each of them separately about how they met, how they fell in love and got engaged. It was so beautiful and perfect and left everyone in tears.
During dinner Robb spontaneously sung “I Just Called to Say I Love You” to Angela, so sweet!

these are stunning!!!!
Your ring shots are SO fabulous. I’m guessing you have a macro and it makes me want one.
On another note, how in the world do you find time to read 100+ books a year? I just can’t seem to make reading enough of a priority!
BEAUTIFUL!! Your rings shots always rock! Lovely wedding. The parasol shot is my favorite.
