• After their engagement session was done in a downpour, I was hoping for better weather for Ashley and Ryan as their wedding was scheduled to be outdoors at Skyland Pines in the most adorable location. Sadly the rain the week before left the ground so saturated that the seats kept sinking and there was rain in the forecast for their wedding day so the ceremony had to be moved inside at the last minute. However luckily the rain and storms held off JUST long enough for us to quickly do all of our pictures outside after the ceremony! YAY!
• Ashley was one of the most laid back brides I’ve ever had. Such a dream to work with!
• The flowers were so fantastic for this wedding. I love, love, love flowers and Ashley’s florist seriously hit it out of the ballpark. He was awesome and was able to transform the somewhat dark and very “room like” space where the ceremony was held last minute into a beautiful garden. He gets a gold star from me!
• This was one of the few weddings were I stayed until nearly the end and this group knew how to have a great time! So fun to watch and photograph!

I loved the tables at their wedding, so pretty and the touch of the homemade syrup is amazing!
It’s always a good wedding when there are cupcakes involved! I’m sad I didn’t get to try these!
The total effect after the cupcakes were arranged on the tower was amazing and smelled DIVINE!
Hubs was with the guys as they were getting ready aka procrastinating putting on that hot suit jacket.
I was hanging out with this gorgeous dress while the girls got ready. I definitely had the better room – isn’t this dress gorgeous?
I saw the dress reflecting behind the perfume in the mirror so I had to capture an image of it.
Ashley did her own makeup the day of her wedding, love!
It took a small army to get Ashley into her dress and laced up, luckily she had a lot of lovely ladies to help her out!
I love the flower girls face in this image!
Ashley and her father made their entrance and everyone was breathless.
Lighting the unity candle.
I was so, so glad the weather held off long enough for us to do some portraits outside!
About 15 minutes after this image, it was pouring rain, quite windy and thundering loudly. It’s hard to tell from this image isn’t it?
Off to our west was a really nasty storm so we quickly moved through poses with my trusty iPhone guiding us as to when we needed to be inside to take cover. Having weather radar at my fingertips is priceless for weddings!
They are such a cute couple!
Needless to say this bridal party was a ton of fun!
I like cupcakes, can you tell?
Sometimes the most basic ring shot turns out to be my favorite of the night.
Looove this image 🙂
Such a sweet moment!
