I knew from their engagement session that Cassie and Jeff were up for anything and wouldn’t shy away from “strange” ideas that their photographer had. The end result of this (plus lots of time for pictures) was some of my favorite wedding images I’ve taken! It was a bit of a hectic start to our day due to delays and reschedulings from the salon but in the end it all worked out, Cassie looked amazing (props to my fav makeup artist in the world Jason Kelly!) and the day was perfection. I also have to give props to their fantastic bridal party who had my back all day. They were a dream to work with! Beyond all of that amazing goodness going on, the theme for their wedding was Mardi Gras/New Orleans since they went to college in New Orleans. If you’ve followed my blog, you may have noticed I’ve been there a few times so my heart was happy. My stomach was too when I got to not only enjoy some jambalaya but also some beginets!!!
Fellow wedding vendors who helped make their day so special:
Bridal Gown: Maggie Sottero via Kleinfeld Bridal (yes I asked if she met Randy and sadly, no she didn’t! LOL)
Cake Artist: Wild Flour Bakery
Ceremony: St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church
Day of Coordinator: Trisha Bennett with At Last Event Planning
DJ: Dan Cormier with Jerry Bruno Productions
Florist Roses for Weddings
Hair: Marengo Spa
Makeup (Bride): Jason Kelly Face Art
Menswear: Tuxedo Junction
Reception: Windows on the River
Transportation: All Occasion Limousine
I’ve mentioned Jason is amazing right?
I loved that Cassie had two different shoes for the wedding, white for the ceremony, purple for the reception. She gets major props for wearing the heels ALL NIGHT!
Chris got this lovely image of the bridesmaids helping Cassie get her veil on prior to the ceremony.
The words that popped into my head when I saw this image was, “you take care of my girl!”
Of course their colors were Purple, Green and Gold!
Needless to say, the Cleveland Police gets major props from me for being so darn awesome, as do Cassie and Jeff!
We did a lot of skyline shots and every one made me happy!
This bridge is beyond awesome and was brought even more to life with gorgeous light at the time of day we were there.
Yeah it’s the same bridge but I love both images! It’s my blog and I’ll repeat if I want to 😉
The Ribs Burnoff was taking place at the same time as their wedding in the parking lot for their reception venue. They were kind enough to let us in for a few pictures!
Have I mentioned how awesome Cassie and Jeff are yet? Because they are.
I love choreographed dances!
Love this moment between them!
Thank YOU to Cassie, Jeff and the entire wedding party! You guys were a blast!
