• I’ve been looking forward to this wedding since their engagement session (ahhh fall how I miss you!) at Stan Hywet.
• Kelli is Rachel’s friend and it was super fun to recognize some friendly faces in the crowd and bridal party!!
• I know I say this EVERY time that I work with him but I seriously LOVE Jason Kelly so much. He is amazing. If you are looking for a stellar make up artist to make you go from beautiful to STUNNING you need to book Jason. I love working with him, I call him Magic Eyes because when he does someone’s makeup their eyes ZING! (FTC crap, he’s not paying me, he’s never done my own personal makeup and this is all out of LOVE!).
• Kelli had her heart set on going to the Cleveland Botanical Garden but the weather was fairly crappy and it was raining off and on. We decided to head that way and hope for the best. When we pulled up in front of the Botanical Gardens it was pouring. A few pleads and they agreed to let us use their indoor space (THANK YOU) but after only about 10 minutes the skies cleared and we were able to go outside, woo hoo! It’s really rare that we’re not able to get outside at all, this is one of those perfect examples where the rain let up long enough to go outside. YAY! So even those 90% chance of rain brides, have hope!
• The bridal party stopped at a relatives bar on the way back to the reception…. talk about FUN! It was basically a private party for just the bridal party! What a great way to celebrate with your friends before the reception!
• In the “it’s a small world after all” way of things, I was sat at a table with parents of someone I graduated High School with! The wedding was in Willoughby – far from my hometown!

Some pictures of Kelli getting her makeup done by Jason. See her eyes in that second picture? MAGIC EYES!
Right after Kelli’s makeup was done her flowers arrived, PEONIES! I love love love peonies. They smelled amazing and were stunning!
A bridesmaid checks out her makeup that Jason just finished and asks him if she can just take him everywhere with her so she always looks this good. 🙂
Andrew spies Kelli for the first time.
Kelli making her grand entrance!
The priest reads from a planner that had answers from their kids (they are teachers) about what marriage means to them and advice for the newlyweds. HILARIOUS!
Exchanging the rings. If you recognize Crystal the Matron of Honor it’s because she was in Rachel’s wedding too!
Awwwww aren’t they cute?
Kelli you’re beautiful!
Ha ha ha these groomsman were so much fun!
The groom did this all on his own, I put them in the spot I wanted them in and asked him to kiss and he put his hand up! LOL!
This may be my favorite… I LOVE this shot!
What a gorgeous bridal party!
They also struck this pose on their own. They rocked the posing!
We went over to Progressive Field for some more pictures, the guys were more relaxed here and had a good time with it.
Then we went over to the bar and they had a blast drinking, singing and dancing.
This guy wasn’t digging the pictures earlier (the ring bearer) but he sure loved the dance floor! His Dad had to physically drag him off so they could do the entrances and get things started!
Kelli’s Dad was a RIOT!
I love that the Fathers have been doing a lot more toasts lately. 🙂
You know there’s gotta be a ring shot on top of the peonies right?
Oh my, this dance brought down the house in tears. The groom started out with his Mom but then she switched out for his Grandma and everyone was crying, the groom, his mom, the bride… me. EVERYONE. I even teared up editing this part of the day.
I think Kelli was worried about hitting the chandeliers!
Andrew made sure to woo his bride before removing her garter 🙂
Thanks to you both for a fantastic day 🙂
