Daniel and Monica’s Engagement Session at Cleveland Museum of Art

One thing is always true about Ohio – it’s never the same year twice!  A year ago I visited Wade Oval Lagoon at the same time and the blossoms were in full bloom – a month later than they had bloomed the year before.  Monica really loved the look of their session and the blooms so we chose a day at the same time of year only to find that there was only a few blooming trees and none of the cherry trees were even budding!  After the bitterly cold winter I can’t say I’m surprised they were a bit delayed.  Heck, this was my first engagement session of the year because no one wanted pictures taken this winter (I usually have a few brave souls that want snowy pics but the negative bagillion temps negated that!).  We made do with what blooms we did have and really, this adorable couple was perfect on their own!   I love that they changed outfits midway through the session for a couple different looks to their day.  I can’t wait to work with Daniel and Monica again in September!
