Brides Talk: Congratulations Jennifer!!!!

Back in January I started my first annual giveaway for my past clients. I really wanted to do a giveaway like so many other photographers have been doing but I also really was unsure of doing one for future clients as I was worried about people already having a photographer and winning. I would absolutely hate to be the reason someone bailed on another photographer so I decided to do one for my past clients instead since they have all been so absolutely wonderful.

I do not include albums in my packages for many reasons – which will be the topic of an upcoming Corey Talks. So I decided that an album would be a perfect giveaway to my past clients for them in return giving me a piece for my Brides Talk feature on my blog. In the end I received 5 rave reviews from some very wonderful past clients of mine. Originally I was going to have three of my photographer friends each chose their favorite entry but since there weren’t that many entries I felt it was more fair to let them all be in the running for the album. Since I hate popularity contests with a passion, I did a random number generator for the contest, assigning each girl to a number 1-5 in order of entry and plugging those numbers into Random.org. I originally was going to draw the winner on Thursday but I decided that since today is St. Patrick’s Day, this should be a lucky day for one of my clients (and yes, I’m Irish!). Number 3 was drawn, making Jennifer the winner!

Future clients take note that this will be a recurring giveaway so every year a bride will win! If you already purchased an album with your package, you will either get a refund or can choose to use the value towards something else (parent albums, gallery wrap etc).

Thank you SO MUCH to all my clients of 2008, especially those that entered!

It’s funny how clients find you in a multitude of ways. Most are word-of-mouth, some find you by random google searches and some, like Heather, will find you in the most obscure ways.
