Engagement Proposal at Gervasi Vineyard with Ashley and Jake

At the beginning of May on yet another beautiful spring day in Ohio, I headed over to Gervasi Vineyard to photograph a proposal and this time, no hiding in bushes or in trees was necessary (whew!).  As far as Ashley knew, I was there to take pictures of the family that was gathered at Gervasi for a dinner to celebrate her and boyfriend Jake’s recent graduation from Walsh University.  But in reality I was hired to photograph the proposal that took place before dinner began.  She was completely surprised by the beautiful rose gold engagement ring as were most of the guests!  While the families both chatted about the proposal and wedding I took the newly engaged couple outside for some engagement portraits on the beautiful grounds.
