When I am able to incorporate things I love with my engagement sessions I do a bit of an extra happy dance – and this was the case with Toni and Frank’s engagement session! I really love covered bridges. I got back into photography photographing them with a boyfriend after not really doing much with it for many years. I really don’t know what it is about them really that captures my heart, but I imagine a lot of it is due to their beautiful settings! A small bit may also be due to my obsession with Anne of Green Gables and Road to Avonlea where one was prominently featured, ha ha!
Anyway, when trying to come up with a good location to meet up with Toni and Frank that was somewhat in the middle for all of us Harpersfield Covered Bridge popped into my mind. I’ve been here a few times over the years but never for an engagement session! They were game for the idea and we chose a date. Luckily the weather was perfect and so were Toni and Frank. They were such fun to work with and you’ll see them return on the blog soon for their awesome New Years Eve wedding!
