I’d already been to the charming Massillon Woman’s Club before but it was nice to return this time for a ceremony and not just photos!  One of my longtime friends Kim was marrying her beloved Travis and trying to balance a perfect wedding spot and safety in the early summer of 2021 was tough but I think they found the perfect place.  They said “I Do” on the steps outside with the beautiful mansion as the perfect backdrop while their loved ones watched from the front yard.

I LOVED Kim’s stunner of a blue dress and the orange accents that Travis and the kids wore. The pop of color with the orange bouquet on that blue dress was PERFECTION.

I could go on and on about this wedding but I’m almost 2 years behind (!) on my blog and I need to get caught up so enjoy the photos of this wonderful day!

Gervasi Vineyard Conservatory Wedding with Molina and Shawn

Since the pandemic I’ve picked up more and more of the small intimate weddings at Gervasi Vineyard and I just loooove them.  I had photographed a few before 2020 but with the uncertainty of everything more people have decided to have smaller weddings and Gervasi has a wonderful setup for a small wedding.  I do partially love working here because it’s nice to be home in a few minutes – it’s a wonderful perk!  However, I just really love working here, it’s just so pretty.  The setting inside the conservatory is just picture perfect (of course, the grounds are too)!  I’ve been there in all seasons and times of day and it’s never not beautiful.  It’s by far the best option in Stark County if you’re looking to have a small intimate wedding.

I love white/off-white dresses but give me a dress in any shade that isn’t white adjacent and I simply swoon.  Molina’s dress was SO swoon worthy.  A year later and I’m still looking at it with heart eyes.  I loved Molina’s baby’s breath bouquet too – it just set everything off perfectly.

It’s always fun when a wedding brings me a six degrees of Kevin Bacon moment and this wedding did!  Before the wedding Shawn’s Dad asked where I was from and I told him.  Turns out he grew up near our house and was good friends with my Aunt and spent many hours hanging out in our basement as it was the kids hangout in the neighborhood!  Small world!

Peacock Ridge Wedding with Lori and Bill

Summer wedding at Peacock Ridge

On a sunny and bright June afternoon I met up with Lori and Bill at Peacock Ridge in North Lawrence, OH for their wedding.  I hadn’t been here before so I was pretty excited to work here and it did not disappoint!  I looooved the soft pinks and purples that Lori chose for her colors.  The bridesmaid dresses were so romantic!

The ceremony area that Peacock Ridge has set up is so pretty – I love the flowers around the lake and arch.  The sun was a bit brutal but luckily it was a short ceremony!  The peacocks made sure to cry a few times at just the right moment to make sure everyone knew why this was called Peacock Ridge!
