Heat advisories. They have been a way of life here in Northeast Ohio this summer. When I saw the warnings for the Saturday Molly & Chito were getting married, I grew concerned as wedding dresses + heat = short portrait time. Imagine my elation when I saw that Molly’s dress was absolutely adorably and short! I LOVED it immediately and not only due to the heat. What’s even better the dress totally stood for what the wedding was – lovely, fun and just perfect. The whole day was just so crazy full of love, it was amazing.
Molly and Chito met and still live in Japan. Molly grew up in Ohio, Chito is from Australia and all of their friends and family flew in from literally all over the world to see them get married. It was amazing to hear all of the different accents (I’m a sucker for an accent) of everyone that had came from near and far to see them say I Do.
Thank you so so much for hiring me for your wedding day, it was a great ay!

Florist: Molly Taylor Designs
Reception: The Club at Key Center
Molly’s smile is absolutely infectious!
Generally the rules are rather strict at Old Stone Church but they were especially kind to me and allowed me a little bit of leeway so I was able to capture the ceremony a bit better than normally allowed here 🙂
The above leeway made me able to capture the first kiss like this, rather than from the balcony, yay!
After the ceremony we walked back to The Key Club and took some images along the way.
I love how they just smile and laugh together!
Favorite!
Isn’t her dress amazing?
While I didn’t try this cake, I did get to have a piece of their cassata cake that they also had for the wedding. It was AMAZING.
Are these cookie + favor bags not amazing? They had a HUGE table full of cookies that looked amazing (I managed to resist the temptation but barely!). Cookies have been big this year and it’s been awesome!
Molly’s father started the toasts off to the new Bride and Groom.
Molly is simply beautiful!
Chito’s best friend from Australia gave a hilarious speech that may have embarrassed Chito just a pinch.
Have I gushed about the flowers yet? They were so fun and bright! I adored them so, so much.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen the shoe game but it was good times and a few laughs!
I think the cake was tasty!
Oh I loved their first dance, which was choreographed to “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” and it was awesome!
Love!
You know this made my heart happy right? So fun!
Molly and her father had a super sweet father daughter dance.
Chito had a ton of fun on the dance floor!
Chito’s Mom was awesome! She was on the dance floor all night cutting a rug and just having fun!
Molly and Chito had a guestbook with pics from the polaroid and they had a blast posing for it all night.
Yeah yeah, jumping shots are cliche but I’ll never tell a client no and I’m so glad I didn’t because this picture makes me laugh and laugh. It’s perfect and SO them! Love!
